Muscle Building Workouts for Busy Schedules

There are many different muscle building workouts on the market today, but finding one that you can complete with very little spare time can be difficult. When you look for a plan that can help you build muscle, don’t fall for scam products that claim that they can help you build muscle without using exercise or diet to help you. The right program will be one that combines diet, exercise, weight training and planning.

Making Time

Your muscle building workouts actually will only take about one hour a week if you are already in good shape. Most people can successfully build muscle by simply working out intensely with weights, until the muscles have reached the point of exhaustion. In fact, when you begin weight training, you may only need about fifteen minutes to reach this goal.

You will also want to make your routine a priority in your schedule, so that you won’t be tempted to keep putting the exercise off for another day. The first thing you will want from your muscle building schedule is convenience, so choose a time when you are free for about an hour, to an hour and a half. For most people, before or after work, or perhaps the weekend, is the best option available.

Quick Results

For the quickest results, you can follow the normal guidelines that are recommended for a person of your height, making sure that the foods you eat are high quality. Leans meats and other protein foods are thought to help build new muscle, but you won’t have to eat more than one or two servings a day unless you feel you need to. Your muscle building workout will take a lot of energy, however, so make sure to pack a protein shake in your gym bag on weight training days.

Also, you will want to make sure that your workouts are progressive, so that the time you do have to spend in the gym will give you the results that you are looking for. If you only have thirty minutes to work out, then you will want to choose a weight that will cause muscle exhaustion quickly, but is still manageable for your personal skill level.

Simple Exercises

Some simple exercises that you can do at home in your spare time will also help you enhance your muscle building workout. There are many different home health products on the market that will allow you to do nearly any weight training exercise with ease, and having these things at home will give you the convenience you need to build your muscles without taking a lot of time.

For example, chin ups can be done in just a few minutes, and a chin up bar can be installed in your home for relatively little costs. There are also commercial chin up bars that hang over your door, so you can put it away when you have guests. Remember that your muscle building routines will take a little time to work, so don’t give up too easily.
